Every chat you’ve ever had with GitHub Copilot is saved as a plain text file on your disk. Searchable, quotable, re-usable. Annual review prep, cross-chat handoffs, and ‘what was that thing I figured out three weeks ago’ all become trivial.

A good assistant doesn’t wait to be asked. They walk in with a briefing. A trigger phrase in custom instructions fires off a structured routine that reads my calendar, summarises emails, surfaces carry-forward items, and gives me a single morning report.
